Often times, before surgery, a surgeon will ask you to have a pre-operative evaluation (sometimes also called “surgical clearance” or “pre-operative clearance”). Our board certified family physicians can perform this exam for you in our office. You do not have to be a direct primary care member to have this done; however, it is included in our membership if you decide to enroll.

What is included in the exam:

• Physical exam

• Basic lab work (CBC, CMP, Urinalysis). Additional labs can be done if needed utilizing our extremely low cost cash pay pricing or billed to insurance

• EKG (if needed)

Our clinic does not bill insurance for any services (outside of Medicare); however, a superbill can be provided to you (upon request) that you can submit to your insurance.

If you are a Medicare patient, we can still perform this exam for you; however, the services will be billed to Medicare per CMS guidelines.
